i miss living in florida...this cold weather thing sucks haha

maybe i will move south eventually...i always tell myself that i like the seasons up here...but really...i absolutely loved having warm, sunny weather everyday. warm weather seems to automatically make the day better. it's sad that it's only december and i'm already reminiscing about how wonderful florida was...hahaha only 6 more months until summer =0P

i haven't written in here in awhile, but i don't really have much to say so i'm not sure why i'm making this entry.
i finally have a job...and i've already learned so much in the 6 days that i have been there. i'm continuing to pet sit. i'm going to start volunteering at mystic again at the end of January. I don't have to pay for a place to live and I don't pay for my food either.
on paper my life seems like it should be really good...but i'm frustrated.

i don't want to live at home, but it's stupid for me to move out since my two jobs are both in westborough. if i have to live in MA, i wish i could at least be in boston, or even on the cape, but neither of those are a possibility now.
i'm really thankful that i got this job, and i know how lucky i am that they're willing to train me, but a big part of me was hoping that they wouldn't offer it to me. i really want to go to washington and see if i can make it out there. i guess all i can hope for now is that i'm accepted for an internship this summer...even though i dont know if i'll be able to leave my job and screw them over after they gave me this opportunity.

i'm not looking forward to january...at all...although it will be nice to have people in town for a little while at least

the past two days were exhausting, but they were really fun.

I'm happy to say that today was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! I still can't believe that it was real.
I flew up 14,000 feet in a small plane, did a back flip out of a perfectly good plane, free fell for 9,000 feet while doing all kinds of spins, and parachuted to the ground where I landed on my feet.
INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was grinning and giggling all afternoon and I'm still wicked excited about it even though I landed about 7 hours ago. I highly recommend it to everyone...I've never been so scared (my legs were shaking uncontrollably in the plane) or spent so much money on one thing in my life, but it was totally worth it.

Skydiving was the coolest thing I've ever done. Keith and Dan were great. My parents reactions when they watched my video and realized I went skydiving today were great too.

people confuse me. if you know what makes you happy, why wouldn't you do those things? and if you know what you want in the future, why would you do things to mess it up?

i wish life was simple and that it was easy for people to just be happy. i can't believe that peggy just decided not to be homesick in Ghana and so she isn't...why can't I just decide to be happy and excited about life? why can't i just decide not to feel unmotivated/completely vulnerable/lazy/lonely/bored/sad/tired/helpless/everything else i've been feeling lately?

i dont want to do this anymore. i'm sick of feeling this way and i hate what my life is becoming.

i hope i find a job soon...
